At Spotzer, we created a database full of commercials. We once spent a month in Kiev to shoot 72 commercials. We filmed during the day and wrote scripts during the night. In that month, we only ate sushi and things that were covered in poppy seeds, which is typically Ukrainian (the poppy seeds, not the sushi). We learned some Russian words. We discovered that Ukrainian women are able to walk through snow and ice in stiletto heels and that we are not. At all.
